How to request a record
- Complete Form 2 (Request for Access to Record), available from the Information Regulator's website or from privacy@biteapp.co.za.
- Send it to the Information Officer by email.
- Prescribed fees may apply. People asking for their own personal information pay no request fee.
- BITE responds within 30 days, which may be extended once by up to 30 days.
- If refused, the requester may complain to the Information Regulator or apply to court.
